ISO Certification  
Beton Lana GmbH’s quality system is certified in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2008.  The quality controls included relate to all areas and activities of the business, such as customers, suppliers, personnel, management and production.

ICMQ: 
When choosing a certification body, Beton Lana made a conscious choice to work towards the ICMQ standards. ICMQ is the best renowned institute in the construction industry, prescribing the strictest inspections, especially in the concrete manufacturing process.  Part of these is a rigorous reception inspection of all materials used, above all of aggregates such as sand, gravel and grit as well as of the cement, water and additives. As Beton Lana produces its own aggregates, this area is monitored very carefully indeed. On top of this, the external auditor carries out a thorough inspection of the production process, the activities carried out in the laboratory and its testing instruments (scales, laboratory equipment) as well as the end product and transport services. Both certifications, ISO 9001 and the CE certification of aggregates, are issued by ICMQ.

CE Certification for aggregates
A ministerial decree issued on 14.09.2005 stipulates that all concrete manufacturers may only manufacture structural concrete using CE certified products. This means that all companies producing aggregates for the production and sale of concrete must hold this certification as of May 2007. Beton Lana GmbH is one of the first companies in South Tyrol to have achieved certification of its production of aggregates in accordance with UNI EN 12620:2002, which it did on 29.03.2006.
